Shadow Giants Wins an UnAward for ‘Come Back To Nursing’ Campaign
Posted in: Studio News
Fazeley Studios based social media agency, Shadow Giants, is celebrating success after picking up Best Private Sector/Agency Comms Campaign at the inaugural comms2point0 UnAwards.
Beating off stiff competition, including Carlsberg, Shadow Giants took home the award for their Come Back To Nursing campaign, aimed at encouraging nurses to return to the profession.
Delivered in a difficult time for nursing, the campaign has seen a 449% increase in ex-nurses signed up for the return to practice programme with significant engagement on social platforms. It has also delivered a huge ROI, as the 779 ex-nurses who signed up during the first month of the campaign could save the NHS £53,361,500 in training alone.
The achievements of the campaign were recognised by the comms2point0 UnAwards’ judges, who said: “This campaign demonstrated some of the very best comms work and bought tangible benefits to the client, the NHS and the taxpayer.”
Shadow Giants founder, Amy Kiernan, said: “We are over the moon to have been recognised for our work on the Come Back To Nursing campaign. It was a real challenge to find an audience that very little is known about, but our strategic approach delivered great results.”
Following 202 entries from 150 organisations, the comms2point0 UnAwards took place at The Electric Cinema, celebrating the outstanding comms and digital work that takes places across the UK.
Congratulations to Amy and the team, they are certainly ones to watch for 2015!
